Accessibility statement
Last updated: 27 July 2026
Our whole business is making things understandable for people the system was not built for. The website has to meet the same standard.
1. Our target
We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA across amberlinguistics.com. The site is built to work with keyboards, screen readers and magnification, in both English and Polish.
2. What we have done
Text and interface colours are checked for contrast against our ivory background. All interactive elements have visible focus states and touch targets of adequate size. Images carry descriptive alternative text. Animations are decorative only, and every animation on the site is disabled automatically when your system asks for reduced motion.
The site works without JavaScript for reading and navigation, sets no cookies, and does not trap focus or autoplay sound.
3. Known limitations
Legal policies, including this one, are currently published in English only, with bilingual staff available to explain any of them in Polish on request. We know that matters, and Polish versions are planned.
4. Tell us when something fails you
If any part of this site is hard to use with your equipment or in your language, email hello@amberlinguistics.com. A person reads these, we reply the same working day, and fixing accessibility issues is treated as priority work, not backlog.
If you need any information from this site in another format, such as large print or plain text by email, ask and we will provide it.
